I'm a writer/author. That being said, I deal mostly with humor. I have written two non-fiction works, Computers in Plain English and Math for the Family. Even those are written with a few laughs thrown in. Let's face it, Math is not everyone's cup of tea (now does anyone know where that crazy analogy came from? I don't).
Everything I write is G rated. I want anyone to read it and not be offended by language. My primary genre is the short story and children's writing. I have published a book called Laughs from Corn Country (I'm from Iowa, so it fits, and many of the stories are, well, corny.) This is collection of short stories. The math book is also family oriented. There are no problems to work. I go from before numbers to Boolean Logic. It sounds complicated, but it really isn't.
